Kindle Address Book with Grocery List

This is an easy address book to use. Just click on the letter you want in the hyperlinked Table of Contents. When that page opens, there will be numbers 1-10 under each letter. Use the scroll bar on your Kindle to select a number, then select “add note”. Type in your mailing addresses, web addresses, emails and phone numbers you want to save.

There is also a Grocery List page to note reminders so you don't forget anything at the grocery store.
If you have address information saved on your computer you want to move to your Kindle without re-entering it, see the chapter on importing your own information.

Samuel Morse actually intended for his telegraph to use machines for sending and receiving. The early equipment did both, but it wasn't long before it became clear that Morse telegraphy was better suited for people.

That's why they're still refining it 160 years later. The ham radio license hasn't required Morse proficiency in years, but some people still learn it. It's maddeningly slow compared to newer systems, but it's simple and reliable. You can't copy high-speed ASCII in your head.

This key is an iambic paddle, which improves on the old mechanical "bug" by plugging into a digital unit that not only generates strings of dots (dits) but also dashes (dahs).

But wait, there's more. The paddle is two keys mounted side by side, one for the thumb and one for the fingers. If you close both, you can alternate dits and dahs. The famous "CQ" call is reduced from 8 hand motions to three. And so on. The code flows out of you and into the ether.

Nice keys like this Vibroplex are made in America the old fashioned way, from metal and precisely machined parts. They are art. The best ones have heavy knurled nuts, adjustments that stay adjusted, and bases that won't move around no matter how hard you whang on them.

A few years back, the "@" sign was added to the International Morse Code in order to send e-mail addresses for message delivery. That's right. Morse is Internet aware.

The @ character is .--.-.- (also a snap to send on the iambic key).
